Vernon, B.C. Feb 18, E. McBain, who claims to be a land agent, has been arrested 
at Pentiction on a charge of being connected with the murder of 
Zimmerman/jeweler of that place two weeks ago. 

McBain fainted when he was placed under arrest, He and a brother have been 
living in the district for several months. The man arrested has been under 
surveillance for several days. E.O. Conklin, a detective assistant to W.H. Walsh 
of Vancouver, secured the evidence, which led up to the arrest.
