Mr. and Mrs. Geo. A. Carruthers, of Winnipeg, arrived from the east yesterday and are stopping at the Alberta. Mr. and Mrs. J. Henderson and daughter, Mrs. McVittie and two children, of Fernie, B.C. are stopping at the Cecil. They intend becoming permanent residents here and will occupy their new residence, which is almost complete. Sunday morning between nine and ten o'clock, E.E. Cole, Eighth St. discovered a lynx in his yard where it has evidently sought refuge. Procuring a gun he quickly dispatched the animal, which was a more than ordinary large one. Results just posted show that all the Edmonton law students who wrote the examination on February 25 and 35 and 36, north of Twenty-second st. following are those who passed. Second intermediate Jas. The property is lots 35 and 36 north of Twenty-second east side, and the price paid was $13,000.
