McLAUCHLAN, Helna Miss. McLAUGHLAN, Hope Miss. DICKISON, Alison Miss. The marriage of Miss Marie Louis Lavergne, daughter of Mr. Louis Lavergne, M.P. to Hon. Judge Albert Malouin, of the Superior Court of Quebec, took place recently at Arthabaska. Bishop Suzor, of Nicolet, uncle of the bridegroom, officiated. The bride who was given away by her father, wore a pale green chiffon velvet gown, trimmed with real lace, and a tulle hat. She carried a bridal rose shower bouquet. Mr. Philip Malouin, K.C., of Quebec, acted as witness for his brother. Breakfast was served at the residence of the bride'w parents. At the house of the bride's parents, at Idylwyle, Guelph, the marriage was recently celebrated of Miss. Edith Alice McLachlan, to the Rev. Robert Cochrane, M.A., of Knox church Woodstock. The Rev. R.W. Ross of Knox Church, Guelph, performed the ceremony, with the assistance of the Rev. Dr. Somerville and Rev. Alexander MacGillivray, both of Toronto. The bride, who wore here mother's wedding dress of white corded silk trimmed with Honiton lace, and long rule veil, which was fastened with orange blossoms, carried a bouquet of white rose. She was attend by her sister, Miss. Helena McLauglap, Miss Hope McLachian, Montreal, and Miss Alison Dickinson, London. The groomsman was Mr. R. R. Cochran, the ushers Messrs. David Dix and A.E. Hamilton, of Toronto. Mr. and Mrs. Cochran left after the bridal supper for Toronto and New York.
