The building permit record for May 
continues to grow apace despite the 
backward weather, and there is a strong 
probability that a new high water mark 
will be reached this month. Though only 
eight days have passed, the hundred 
thousand mark has been well passed, while 
all the permits have been for moderate 
sized structures, most of which are 
dwellings. 

The permits issued today are as follows
