The members of the Alberta Provincial board of health provision for the 
organization of which body was made by the Public Health Act passed last 
session in the legislature, has been appointed. The official announcement 
of the members constituting the new board was made public today. The 
appointees are

MEWBURN, F.H. M.I., C.M. Lethbridge
COBBETT, C.N. M.D. M.Ch. Edmonton
LAFFERTY, J.D.  M.D.  Calgary
OWENS, R.B.  Sanitary engineer, Toronto
IRVING, L.E.W. Dr. I.S.O., M.D. C.M., Provincial health inspector is by 
virtue of his office under the terms of the Public Health act, secretary of 
the newly created board. 

All the appointees have signified their acceptance of the appointments.
