Keneflick hired a team to four prominent citizens ostensibly to go for a drive of fifteen miles. When the party returned one horse dropped dead, and the second was almost ready to go. On Thursday morning a rancher named W.E. Colborn dropped dead at Bagley's ranch. Heart failure is said to have been the cause of death. The death of John Hall, one of Macleod's oldest old-timers on Thursday of last week. He came to Macleod in the 1870's. Ponoka Mr. and Mrs. C.D. Algar left for Vancouver on Wednesday, where they intend making a prolonged stay in the hope of improvement in Mr. Algar's health. Wetaskiwin One of the best known citizens of Wetaskiwin in the person of Mary the beloved wife of Mr. W.J. Dore passed away on Saturday afternoon last after a prolonged illness. Harry Bowtell has been appointed interior homestead inspector for the Vermilion district.
