Philip Bousks, OF Wetaskiwin, is visiting in the city. Dr. Joe Boyle, of Ottawa is staying at the St. James. Mrs. Guertin and niece, of Morinville, are guests at the King Edward today. Mr. And Mrs. F.J. Osborne, late of Laicester, England arrived here on yesterday afternoon's train. Mr. And Mrs. Osborn intend making their home here and express themselves very pleased with the city. They are visiting at present with Mrs. Osborne's sister, Mrs. H. Coles. At the Mounted Police Barracks yesterday George H. Finkle, for the theft of $100 from partner, was sentenced to three months in fort Saskatchewan barracks. Finkle was arrested several days ago and pleaded guilty to the charge of embezzling the money, which had been given him in trust by his partner. A man names Norman Rusk was given two months at the Fort for obtaining a set of harness from the Great West Saddlery Company under false pretences. Rusk had previously purchases a team of horses on a lien note, but told the people form who he bought the harness that he ha paid $600 cash for the horses. A previous case against him on a charge of issuing a worthless lien note was dropped.
