CONSERVATIVE NOMINATIONS
DELEGATES WERE CHOSEN AT MEETING ON SATURDAY.

This Evening the Candidates Will Be Nominated to Oppose Cushing and Egbert.
A
big mass meeting was held on Saturday night for the purpose of choosing
delegates to the convention that takes place tonight.
R. B. Bennett presided over the meeting, which was largely attended. The

It is understood that the following names will be suggested as candidates this
evening at the big Conservative convention: R. B. Bennett, K. C., Mayor
Jamieson, Ald. James Hornby, T. M. Tweedle, H. A. Sinnott, James Muir, K. C.,
M. S. McCarthy, M. P.
J. A. Carson, one of the most prominent railroad men in the city is also looked
upon as a very strong and likely candidate. It is reported that the railroad
men would like to see him run, and have decided on him as their candidate. Calgary
