A very pretty little dance was that given by the Cricket club Monday night at the R. N. W. M. P. barracks, which is a favorite mise en scene for pretty affairs. A host of young people delightedly responded to the invitation after a long siege of Lenten quietude, and dancing was continued long after midnight. A few of the guests were Mr. and Mrs. Sharpe, Mrs. Jno. J. Young and Miss Young, Mrs. Wolley-Dod and her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. J. O'Gara, Mrs. Benjamin, Mr. and Mrs. Lent, Mrs. Mewburn and her daughter,  Mrs. C. A. Stuart, Mrs. Weatherall, Mr. and Mrs. Brennan, Mrs. Oliver, Mrs. Green, Miss Harris, Miss Leeson, Miss McLeod, Miss Pinkham, Miss Ings, Miss Meyer, Miss Gilbert, Miss Kerr, Mrs. Sparrow, Miss McDougall, Miss Sinclair, Mr. Bruce, Mr. Qua, Mr. Campbell, Mr. Dangerfield, Mr. Halstead, Dr. Ings, Dr. MacLaren, Mr. Mewburn, Mr. Macleod, Mr. Lane, Mr. Merrick, and Mr. Legg.
