Sherman's hall was again the rendezvous for a jolly party of young people upon the occasion of the dance given under the auspices of the Girls' Hospital Aid society. The hall, with its perfect floor, was brightly decorated with bunting and flags, and softly lighted Chinese lanterns strung in multi-colored garlands from wall to wall. Irwin's orchestra was in attendance, and played delightfully during the evening. Dancing was continued until a late hour, with just a short interlude for a dainty supper, prettily arranged upon tables attractively decorated with spring flowers and gracefully trailing Alabama smilax.  Streamers of crimson satin, drawn across the tables, added a pretty touch.
Among other lovely gowns, were noticed Mrs. Rowley, in a handsome gown of black sequins.
Mrs. Alex. Allen, also much admired in a costume of black, heavily pailiete with sequins.
