W. C. C. Entertains.
The faculty and students of Western Canada College entertained a number of
their friends last evening at a social gathering. The guests were welcomed by
Dr. MacRae, Mrs. Anderson, Mrs. Costigan, Miss Muckleston, Mr. Walker and Mr.
Dominey. Games of all kinds and dancing were much enjoyed for a few hours.
Those present were the students in residence, day pupils, and several of the
former attendants at the college. Other guests were Miss L. Hall, Miss M.
Costigan, Miss H. Auld, Miss M. Lindsay, Miss Vance, Miss B. Hogg, Miss K.
Sutherland, Miss V. Ings, Miss H. Lindsay, Miss J. Macleod, the Misses Bliss,
Miss J. Rouleau, the Misses Chyld, Miss A. Craig, Miss Gaudin (Victoria), Miss
Vickery, Messrs. C. Hogg, F. Costigan, Newton Stirret, Cyril Child, G.
Costigan.
Mrs. Costigan and Newton Stirret kindly furnished the excellent music for the
evening. Refreshments were served in one of the class rooms.
This is the last social function the boys will have as the matriculation
examinations will soon be on.
