EDMONTON MEN SECURE HONORS IN ACCOUNTANCY
The following candidates have been successful in the recent intermediate
and final examinations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants which were
conducted by the board of examiners under the direction of the senate of the
University of Alberta. A mark of 65 per cent, on each subject is required for
passing. Candidates receiving 75 per cent, or over in each subject are given
honors. There were in all 35 candidates writing on the two examinations, out of
which 14 have been successful, while one candidate in each examination
has been passed with honors. The honors candidate in the final examination,
William Robertson, has been associated during the past year with the office of
W. W. Gould, C. A., of Edmonton; and W. A. Elliott, who secured honors in the
intermediate examination, is credit manager of the Edmonton branch of the Great
West Saddlery company.
