66th BATTALION ORDERS
Battalion orders by Lieut. Colonel J. W. H. Mckinery, Command 66th Overseas
Battalion, C. E. F., July 10th, 1915:
Orderly officer for the day, Lieut. Treble. Next for duty, Lieut. Astbury.
Battalion orderly Sergt. for the day, Sergt. Elias. Next for duty, Sergt.
Willis. 1 Sergt., 1 Corpl. and 12 men from the No. 2 Co. to report to the
transport officer at the C.P.R. depot at six a.m.
Enrolled men waiting medical examination will parade at recruiting office,
Jasper avenue, at 8:45 a.m.
Muster parade of all ranks at 8:30 a.m. at corner of Howard and Jasper avenues.
Battalion will then march to exhibition grounds to receive issue of clothing,
etc.
The battalion will parade for inspection by commanding officer at 7:45 p.m. at
corner of Howard and Jasper avenues.
The Commanding Officer has been pleased to approve of the following
promotions: No. 1 Co., to be acting or Master Sergt., W. Lind; No.
2 Co., to be acting or Master Sergt., D. Spence; No. 3 Co., to be acting or
Master Sergt., W. Firth; No. 4 Co., to be acting or Master Sergt., B. R.
Campbell.
Men registered, 808; men passed doctor, 606.
