SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS.
The University of Alberta desires to announce that, owing to a regrettable
clerical error, the return of names of candidates for matriculation
scholarships was overlooked in the case of the Lethbridge High School. When the
standings of the two candidates from that school are taken into account, the
corrected scholarship list should read as follows, in order of merit:
Awarded scholarships-- Aileen Donham, Lethbridge; Mabel Christina Giles,
Calgary; Alan Burnside Harvey, Edmonton.
Eligible for Scholarship by Reversion-- Bruce Sidney Smith, Edmonton South;
Oliver Leslie Stuart, Edmonton; Kathleen Thelma McPhee, Lethbridge; Clennell
Dickins, Edmonton; John Thomas Jones, Edmonton South.
Should the claim of any candidate to a matriculation scholarship be prejudiced
by changes made in the above list as compared with the list originally
published, the University is prepared to meet the difficulty by granting an
additional scholarship or scholarships as may be required.
