SUCCESSFUL STUDENTS IN HOME NURSING

List of Students Who Passed at Examination Held on Wednesday.

The fifth class, organized by the Frontiersmen's and Reserve Militia Battalions, sat for examination on Wednesday to qualify for the St. John Ambulance Home Nursing certificate and badge. The examining physicians were Drs. R. Colwill and R. Irving Bell, who were able to make a very favorable report on the general efficiency of the students.
The following passed, and will, in due course, receive the certificate: Messrs. F. J. Anderton, A. C. Bailey, S. E. Bolton, Ernest Brown, A. Deighton, J. S. Greenwood, C. H. Heller, H. M. Holbrook, R. Holloway, A. E. Magridge, T. G. Pearce, G. W. Ribchester, J. Travis-Barker, A. S. Turnbull, S. C. H. Turner, W. Whitton and J. Wilson. Several students, unavoidably absent from the city, will be examined shortly.
This is the second men's class in home nursing that has received instruction under the direction of the Reserve militia. The students of this class unanimously expressed their appreciation of the thorough and careful tuition and training they had received from the medical officer and lecturer, Dr. G. H. Malcolmson, who will be as gratified at the result as the men.
The R. M. Ambulance corps will assemble for drill in city market hall, First street, opposite Nelson avenue, at 8 o'clock Wednesday evening, April 4th, when men interested in first aid and ambulance work should attend for enrollment.
