The fifth class, organized by the Frontiersmen's and Reserve Militia
Battalions, sat for examination on Wednesday to qualify for the St. John Ambulance
Home Nursing certificate and badge. The examining physicians were Drs. R.

the general efficiency of the students.
The following passed, and will, in due course, receive the certificate: Messrs.
F. J. Anderton, A. C. Bailey, S. E. Bolton, Ernest Brown, A. Deighton, J. S.

Pearce, G. W. Ribchester, J. Travis-Barker, A. S. Turnbull, S. C. H. Turner, W.
Whitton and J. Wilson. Several students, unavoidably absent from the city, will

they had received from the medical officer and lecturer, Dr. G. H. Malcolmson,
who will be as gratified at the result as the men.
The R. M. Ambulance corps will assemble for drill in city market hall, First
street, opposite Nelson avenue, at 8 o'clock Wednesday evening, April 4th, when
men interested in first aid and ambulance work should attend for enrollment.
