MORE RECRUITS FOR THE ARMY MEDICAL CORPS
Draft Now in Course of Formation-- Many More Recruits Are Needed
The following recruits for the Army Medical Corps have been secured this week:
A. J. St. Pierre, Beaver Crossing, Alta.
Frank Sand, Beaver Crossing, Alta.
M. H. Foster, University of Alberta.
W. A. Kirkpatrick, University of Alberta.
Chas. M. Cable, Edmonton South.
W. E. Edwards, Edmonton South.
V. S. Tebbles, Cowley, Alta.
Thos. Major, Beverly, Edmonton.
Sergeant I. V. Hall, in charge of recruiting for the Army Medical Corps for
Alberta, and late of the University of Alberta, states that an overseas draft
of this unit is in course of formation, made up for the most part of students,
professional men and motor drivers. Young men of average intelligence are
eligible for the Army Medical Corps, and an unusual opportunity is offered
those who desire to go overseas with little delay. No previous experience is
necessary, the work is intensely interesting and is of such a nature as to
prove of inestimable value in after life.
In the last draft which left Calgary for overseas on Feb. 21st there were many
men who enlisted since the beginning of the present year.
The local recruiting office is located at 10073 Jasper avenue (next to the
Monarch theatre), Edmonton, where information will gladly be given, and those
interested may secure on application a pamphlet describing the work of the
A.M.C. at home and overseas.
