Lieut. Leonard Proctor Chaimers. Winnipeg. Supervised and consolidated whole company when other commanders had become casualties and reached objective in spite of strong opposition.
Lieut. T.C. McP. St. Etienne de Wolf. Vancouver. When his left flank was held up, he and his party outflanked the enemy and personally accounted for four of the enemy and took charge of two patrols in an attempt to maintain touch with the battalion on the left.
Lieut. Charles Meldrum Inglis. Vancouver. Led his platoon in an attack personally accounting for five of the enemy. He established a post obtaining valuable information and though wounded remained at duty.
Lieut. Hector Roderick Jackson engineers, Vancouver. He mad a reconnaissance with two sappers to look for wounded and finding two, brought them five miles to the dressing station.
