Lieut. |
Alfred
John |
Gaul |
Inadvertently
it was stated in the local press recently the Lieut. Gaul (Believed, Alfred
John) had been receiving parcels through the “Prisoners of War Society.” This
should have read “Canadian Red Cross Society”.
As Lieut.
Gaul spoke of sharing the parcels with a less fortunate companion, this was
quoted to show the needs of prisoners of other nationalities, but Lieut. , Gaul
like other Canadian prisoners has been cared for by the Canadian Red Cross
society, which has many acknowledgements from him.
