GUESTS ATTEND APRES LA GUERRE DANCE
Second of Series of Dances Is Most Successful Affair
With an augmented orchestra under the leadership of
Maynard Joiner, providing the best dance music of the year, and the spacious
dining room of the Palliser hotel at their disposal, some 250 guests of the
Apres la Guerre club thoroughly enjoyed the second ball of the season Thursday
evening. Buffet supper was served about midnight in the east dining room of the
hostelry. The last ball of the series will be held shortly before New Year's.
The committee in charge of the affair was Mr. and Mrs. Norman Weir and Mr. and
Mrs. Fred Filteau.
