DEPARTMENTAL EXAMS. AT THE CALGARY CENTRE


The departmental examinations for Grade VIII and for all high school grades will be conducted at Calgary, commencing Wednesday morning, July 2, at 8: 45. For the most part all Calgary students are writing at their own schools. All Grade VIII students from outside points desiring to write in Calgary will be accommodated at the Normal school, while out-of-town candidates in the high school grades may write either at the Central High school or at the Crescent Heights Collegiate.
The following is a list of the schools at which the examinations will be conducted, together with the names of the teachers in charge:
1. Central High School-- All high school grade examinations, junior and senior matriculation, and all commercial classes; in charge of  T. E. A. Stanley assisted by Miss E. M. McNab, Miss E. Alford, Miss F. Todd, Miss C. S. Cunningham, Messrs. Luck, Harrop, Carr and Jones.
2. Crescent Heights High School-- All high school grade examinations, junior and senior matriculation; in charge of W. W. Scott, assisted by Messrs. Spicer, Stoodley, Florendine, Van Volkenburg, Leppard and Foster.
3. St. Mary's C. S. School-- Grade VIII and all high school grades of the separate schools; in charge of W. Aberhart, assisted by Miss H. D. Fair and J. S. Cameron.
4. King Edward School-- Grades VIII, IX and X, in charge of F. L. Woodman, assisted by F. Speakman and J. F. Kinahan.
Grade VIII examinations will be conducted at the following schools, with teachers as indicated in charge:
Central, J. D. Ferguson; Connaught, Miss M. Moore; Haultain, J. M. Scott; Hillhurst, E. G. Grant; King George, D. A. McKerricher and Miss K. McKellar; Normal, Robert Massey and Miss E. J. McPhail; Ramsay, R. L. Harvey; Stanley Jones, S. J. Dymond; Sunalta, J. M. Hutchinson; Victoria Prevocational, W. A. McKim and D. Andrews.
