RESULTS IN FIRST AID EXAMINATIONS

The examination of the class of instruction in first aid to the injured, which was organized by the Workmen's Compensation Board with the city of Calgary street railway employees, city electricians, city power engineers, provincial telephone employees and the Eau Claire Lumber Co employees, was held at the street car barns Monday night. The candidates who came forward for examination made an exceptionally good showing in their knowledge of first aid to the injured.


The possible marks obtainable at this examination are 120. The results were as follows, the name, occupation and marks being given in the order named:

The lecturer was Dr. D. R. Selby, the practical instructor John Hooks, and the examiners were  Dr. T. Costello and Duncan McDonald.


All the candidates who took this examination were successful in qualifying for the St. John first aid certificate and the industrial first aid service certificate, issued by the Workmen's Compensation Board, Edmonton.
