City Telephone Society's Dance Sustains Old Time Popularity
Holding their opening dance of the season, members of the
City Telephone society and friends assembled in the Memorial hall on
Friday evening at one of the most successful gatherings of the kind. Until a
late hour nearly one hundred and fifty couples kept up the lively program,
which proved to be a big drawing card from all parts of the city.
There was no mistaking the popularity of the telephones club's dances. The
success secured a year ago was sufficient to pave the way for a good attendance
and the results fully justified high expectations. With excellent music
supplied by an orchestra, the dancers did not allow anything to interfere in
the triumph of this, their first informal dance this season.
