The convention will last two days.

The chief item of interest of the morning session was the address of welcome by the president of the association, Harold Snell, of Red Deer. The president outlined the work that had been carried out during the year, dealing with the legislation passed at the last session of the Albert government regarding Optometric. The remainder of the session was devoted to routine business.

Dr. R.C. Augustine president emeritus of the American Optometric Association and a director of the Eyesight Conservation council of America delivered an address to the convention on Monday afternoon.
