Easter Examination Results at Central High School
The following is a lit of the results of the examinations of Grades IX and X in the Cetnral High school during the three weeks preceding Easter. The list of “Partial examinations” includes the names of students who were absent for some of the examinations because of illness and of those whose courses do not require the full number of subjects. The basic marked “below pass” include the names of students who have given too much of their time and energy to social and other outside interests and have neglected to apply to their school work the necessary diligence and application as well as those who were in attendance only part of the time. Parents should remember that regularity in attendance at school and at home preparation are both absolutely essential to satisfactory progress at the student of average ability.
Reports giving the? Progress? made by students in each subject? As well as comments on their work will be published this week. Parents who receive these reports are to sign the attached slips and return them to the school.
