BRIGHT SCHOLARS ARE GIVEN MEDALS
Twenty-seven Donated by Governor-General Distributed In Alberta
His Excellency Lord Byng, governor-general of Canada, has generously donated
twenty-seven bronze medals for competition in connection with the recent public
school leaving examinations. A medal is awarded to the candidate taking the
highest aggregate in each inspectorate as the boundaries existed at the opening
of the fall term, and in the case of the larger centres, Edmonton and
Calgary, medals are donated to the two candidates obtaining the highest
aggregate.
On this basis the medals have been awarded as follows for 1925:
