This unit the 12th Cavalry Field Ambulance, commanded by Lt. Col. G.R. Johnson, is the only on of its kind in Western Canada, and with it full complement of officers and men, attended Sarcee camp with the 5th Mounted brigade this summer. It turns out also in full stregnth for the Dominion day parade. Its object is not only to train men for ambulance work in time of war, but also to supply St. Johns Ambulance instructors for Calgary under the Workmen's Compensation board.
