FOUR CALGARY MEN APPOINTED KING'S COUNSELS

EDMONTON, Jan. 7-- Eighteen new K.C.'s, to be added to the list of Alberta
practitioners entitled to use the service initials after their names, are
announced by Attorney General Hon. J. F. Lymburn. They are as follows:
Charles H. S. Blanchard, Medicine Hat; Leonard W. Brockington, Calgary; James
T. J. Collisson, Edmonton; Christopher G. Corneille, Camrose; William G.
Egbert, Calgary; Andrew H. Gibson, Fort Saskatchewan; Samuel J. Helman,
Calgary; Robert W. Manley, Wetaskiwin; John W. G. Morrison, Vermilion; Robert
E. McLaughlin, Edmonton; Marshall M. Porter, Calgary; Mayne Reid, Edmonton;
Joseph N. Ritchie, Lethbridge; Richard Andrew Smith, Edmonton; Luke H. Stack, Vulcan;
George Robson Steer, Edmonton; George H. Van Allen, Edmonton; Charles Y.
Weaver, Edmonton.
The appointments are honorary and in pursuance of the established custom of
creating new King's counsels each year.
