ARMISTICE DAY IS OBSERVED CARDSTON

CARDSTON, Nov. 21.-- Armistice day was observed by Cardston Rotarians Monday
night by a banquet given to returned men. About 50 men gathered in the Rotary
club room in the Cahoon hotel to partake of a turkey dinner and listen to
speeches. John Pugh, member of the British Royal Air force, Cardston's first
Rotary president, gave an address on the soldiers' point of view. Earlier in
the evening President Howard J. Wood was called upon to give toast to the
returned men.
