RESULTS OF C.A. EXAMS IN APRIL ARE ANNOUNCED
Senate of the University of Alberta has approved the following results of the
chartered accountants' examinations held in April, it was announced Friday:
Final examinations: passed, Leslie J. Munn, Calgary; James L. Kergan, George W.
Montgomery, Edward C. Shaughnessey, Edmonton; James W. Jardine, New York; J. R.
Nelson, Seattle; supplementals granted, John M. Tweddie, Calgary, in accounting
2, and George A. Young, Lethbridge, in accounting 3.
Intermediate examinations: passed, John H. Insley, Fred E. Maxie, Gordon W.
Northfield, Thomas L. Wright, Calgary; Oscar H. Harder, John P. Long, W. H.
Power, J. C. R. Richardson, Edmonton; John F. Dick, Medicine Hat; Cecil A. B.
Studer, Lethbridge; supplementals granted, Alexander J. Fraser, Calgary, in
company law; Gilbert E. Gee, Edmonton, in company law; Sydney Hamilton,
Edmonton, in mathematics; Thomas H. Magee, Edmonton, in auditing and
mathematics; Arthur J. Shankland, Lethbridge, in company law and auditing;
James W. L. Anderson, Drumheller, in mathematics.
Successful candidates in the final examinations will be admitted to membership
at the annual meeting of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta in
Edmonton, June 18, John H. Williams, secretary-treasurer, announced.
Silver medal in the intermediate examination was awarded to John H. Insley of
Calgary.
