While the guests assembled at the military
dance held by the Forty Ninth Battalion in the Prince of Wales Armouries on
Saturday evening, members of the battalion band played regimental music. The
affair was one of the smartest and most enjoyable of the early fall dances,
when military officials and heads of the militia were guests.
