TRAIL RIDERS ENJOY MERRY WEEK-END
A harvest moon of an evening, and with the tang of frost clear in the air,
riding becomes the most thoroughly enjoyable sport for the autumn time. A tinge
of gold coming on the leaves, the vista from the hill tops of spreading fields
stooked with grain, and a glimpse of river, vivid with its icy color of autumn
blue... there is no way to appreciate it so perfectly as to ride through it!
This fall clubs have been organized, and many jolly trail rides are enjoyed by
the members who ride out to the camps and enjoy coffee around the fire. Club
names have not been chosen yet, but the riders are keen to make theiir clubs
really strong organizations.
A week-end ride was arranged when a number of horsemen and horsewomen rode out
to Bonnie Braes at Clover Bar, camping by the way. On Monday a gymkhana was
arranged. Several cars with visitors arrived for the gymkhana and thoroughly
