Be Sure to Register with Alberta Post Adoption Registry

Adoption records are now open in the Province of Alberta.

An adoptee and/or a birthparent can apply to the Post Adoption Registry to receive identifying information about the other party, provided a non-disclosure veto has not been filed by the other party.

Fill out the forms, attach required copies of identification, take copies for your file, and send it in!
Birth siblings can apply for non-identifying information about the sibling that was given up for adoption.
