RESERVE CATEGORY		ABBREVIATION

PROVED DEVELOPED RESERVES - refers to those estimates of proved reserves that will be recovered from existing wells utilizing existing facilities or requiring only minor additional expenditures.

PROVED PRODUCING		PDP
PROVED SHUT-IN		PDSI
PROVED BEHIND PIPE		PDBP
PROVED UNDEVELOPED		PUD

PROBABLE RESERVES - should be in a formation that is a known producer in the general area or geologic province. In the absence of commercial production, production tests, drillstem test or formation test should indicate the presence of hydrocarbons in the reservoir in question.

PROBABLE SHUT-IN		PBSI
PROBABLE BEHIND PIPE		PBBP
PROBABLE UNDEVELOPED		PBUD

POSSIBLE RESERVES - are to be determined on the basis of engineering, geological, and geophysical analyses which indicate the existence of recoverable hydrocarbons, but not to the level of proof required for probable reserves.
