AmberRose
Long Johnson
Birth: May 28, 2009, Alaska, USA
Death: Aug. 22, 2009, Anchorage Borough, Alaska, USA
AmberRose
Johnson, 3-month-old daughter of Carol and Jason Johnson, died Aug.
22, 2009, at her home in Anchorage. A visitation will be from 2
to 3 p.m. Friday at Evergreen Memorial Chapel, 737 E St. The funeral
and interment will be in Mountain Village.
She
arrived prematurely on May 28, 2009, which added some complications
to her life. Although only here for three brief months, she touched
the hearts of all who knew her. She was developing her own little
personality by letting those who cared for her know her feelings.
Her tiny growls would let you know her displeasure, but her little
grins would bring smiles to all those around her.
AmberRose
is survived by her parents, Carol and Jason Johnson; sister, Haley;
and brother, Shane of Anchorage; maternal grandparents, Emily and
George Long of Mountain Village; paternal grandparents, Regina and
Maynard Johnson of Anchorage; and other family members including
Stella and Dean Keys, Jack and Pauline Johnson, Betty, Sheila, Meredith
and Melinda Johnson, Paul, Charles, and Joseph Long, Clifford Johnson
and Nyomi Minok; and numerous cousins and relatives in Anchorage
and Mountain Village.
In
lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help the family with AmberRose's
final arrangements. An Alaska USA account has been established at
the Muldoon Branch under the name of AmberRose Johnson, account
No. 1478561. Arrangements are with Janssen's Evergreen Memorial
Chapel.
