Courts
Court records show the following legal actions among those taken recently in Juneau Superior and District courts.
Judgments:
- Kenneth Johnson, 20, was found guilty of driving under the influence, stemming from a April 16, 2006, incident from which his blood-alcohol was measured at .160 percent. Juneau Magistrate John W. Sivertsen Jr., imposed 20 days in jail with 50 days suspended, fined Johnson $3,000 with none suspended, put him on probation for two years and revoked his license for one year.
- Corrine Maus, 41, was found guilty of driving under the influence, stemming from a Nov. 25, 2006, incident from which no blood-alcohol was available. Juneau District Court Judge Keith B. Levy imposed 20 days in jail with 70 days suspended, fined Maus $3,000 with none suspended, put her on probation for two years and revoked her license for one year.
- Krissy Bean, 26, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a Dec. 15, 2006, incident from which her blood-alcohol was measured at .239 percent. Levy imposed 10 days in jail with 80 days suspended, fined Bean $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, put her on probation for two years and revoked her license for 90 days.
