Courts
Court records show the following legal actions among those taken recently in Juneau Superior and District courts.
Judgments:
- Deanna Starr, 32, was found guilty of driving under the influence, stemming from a April 1, 2006, incident from which her blood-alcohol level was measured at .181 percent. Juneau Magistrate John W. Sivertsen Jr., imposed 25 days in jail with 45 days suspended, ordered Starr to pay $4,000 with $1,000 suspended, revoked her license for one year and placed her on probation for 18 months.
- Pendleton Cutnose, 47, was found guilty of driving under the influence, stemming from a May 21, 2006, incident from which his blood-alcohol level was measured at .211 percent. Sivertsen imposed 20 days in jail with 160 days suspended, ordered Cutnose to pay $3,000 with none suspended, revoked his license for one year and placed him on probation for three years.
- Jordan Sanbei, 19, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a July 4, 2006, incident from which his blood-alcohol level was measured at .105 percent. Juneau District Court Judge Keith B. Levy imposed 3 days in jail with 30 days suspended, ordered Sanbei to pay $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and placed him on probation for 18 months.
- Gary Baker, 53, was found guilty of driving under the influence, stemming from a Aug. 17, 2006, incident from which his blood-alcohol level was measured at .157 percent. Sivertsen imposed 20 days in jail with 40 days suspended, ordered Baker to pay $3,000 with none suspended, revoked his license for one year and placed him on probation for two years.
