Courts
Court records show the following legal actions among those taken recently in Juneau Superior and District courts.
Judgments:
- John C. Walters, 30, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a Feb. 14, 2007, incident from which no blood-alcohol available. Juneau Magistrate John W. Sivertsen Jr., imposed three days in jail with 30 days suspended, fined Walters $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, put him on probation for 18 months and revoked his license for 90 days.
- Nathan B. Hayes, 41, was found guilty of driving under the influence, stemming from a Feb. 11, 2006, incident from which his blood-alcohol was measured at .174 percent. Juneau District Court Judge Keith B. Levy imposed 150 days in jail with 215 days suspended, fined Hayes $7,500 with $2,500 suspended, put him on probation for five years and revoked his license five years.
- Keith L. Rushing, 53, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from a Nov. 21, 2006, incident from which his blood-alcohol was measured at .294 percent. Sivertsen imposed six days in jail with 40 days suspended, fined Rushing $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, put him on probation for 18 months and revoked his license for 90 days.
- Renee Rawson, 20, was found guilty of driving while intoxicated, stemming from an incident from which her blood-alcohol was measured at .159 percent. Levy imposed six days in jail with 40 days suspended, fined Rawson $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, put her on probation for 18 months and revoked her license for 90 days.
