Welcome to the Nome Census Area, AKGenWeb! So glad you are here.  I am Trish Elliott-Kashima, the temporary County Coordinator for this website.  It is adoptable so if you have an interest in adopting it, or helping in any way let us know!

Nome was an area that was originally settled by the Inupiat, later the gold rush came to the area.
