AlaBenton Genealogical Society, organized in 1976, meets at 1:00 PM on the first Saturday of each month (except for May, June, July, and August) on the second floor of the Anniston-Calhoun County Public Library. The library is located on the corner of Wilmer Avenue and Tenth Street. Parking is available at the rear, off Wilmer Avenue. If the first Saturday falls on a holiday weekend, the meeting takes place on the following Saturday.  In 2009, the May meeting will be on the 16th of the month, and in 2010 and thereafter, the May meeting will be on the second Tuesday.

Membership dues are $15 per year, January 1 through December 31. New members who join after October 1 are paying for the following year.
