New members are invited to
include a five-generation ancestor chart (preferably typed or printed in black
ink)
to be placed in the Alabama Room. A Surname Directory is available for those
who are online. Members are
encouraged to submit material for the Family History files. AlaBenton Genealogical Society meets at
in the first Saturday of each month from September
through May. If that Saturday falls in a
holiday weekend,
the meeting is on the following Saturday. In inclement weather, the meeting is
cancelled. Members are
