ALABAMA ROOM MICROFILM AND MICROFICHE INDEX
May 8, 2010
All the holdings of the Alabama Room that are assigned Library of Congress numbers, which includes books, bound periodicals and vertical family files, have been included in the Online Catalog of the Anniston-Calhoun County Public Library. In addition to these materials, the Alabama Room has a significant quantity of microfilmed and microfiche records, which are not included in the electronic catalog. They are included here.
Most, if not all, of these microform materials are filed in filing cabinets and on shelves of the microfilm reading section of the Alabama Room. The drawers are labeled to some extent, but these labels are subject to change with the addition of new materials, so rather than list items by drawer in this index, we have arranged the listing by general subject and locality. From these listings, the Alabama Room staff will be able to locate specific microforms. The titles here have been taken from the labels on the boxes, and it is clear that there are slight inconsistencies in the labels, but this should not be too much of a problem.
