Seeking any available information about either William Marshall FRANKS, born Wesson, Mississippi on March 10, 1852, died January 2, 1924, in Glencoe, AL., or his wife, Susan Frances KEATING, born Pickens County, AL, December 31, 1855, died July 28, 1938. They lived in Anniston from around 1880 until around 1910 before retiring to Glencoe. Any information, especially about William Marshall FRANKS' parents, will be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to find something about Thomas COUCH and wife Sally, They were supposed to be in Anniston or Oxford in 1830-1860 ?? They had a deaf son, and maybe many other children. Thomas COUCH is my gg'grandfather's brother and we know nothing about him or his family. Please help

Looking for any information on Leonard Walker MCGRAW and Jeanette DAY. Married in the early 1920's. Would like to know Jeanettes parents. family is supposed to have been prominent in the area before the Civil War. I am doing this project for and Uncle who has leukemia. Any infor appreciated.

I am looking for information on the families of James Henry HUMPHRIES and Nancy CHITWOOD. They lived in Calhoun Co. in the late 1800s. Their children were: Mary, Howard, Fannie, Thomas, and Asa Allen b. 3/9/1889. Asa married Anna Myree Adamson. James and Nancy are buried at Bethleham Cemetery near Anniston. Would like to exchange information about David PAGE family who came to Jacksonville, Benton Co. Al abt 1840. His wife was Jane (last name unknown). They came from Rabun Co., GA. First 5 children born in GA, next 6 in Jacksonville, AL. First son, John Robert PAGE married Francis RALSTON 22 Dec 1840 in Jacksonville. Fourth child, Rhoda E. PAGE married there and 5th child, Milton PAGE married Ann W. COBB 26 OcT 1848, Jacksonville, AL. There is a possibility that the 8th child, Martha Jane PAGE, married a "Wm. TERRY-BOWLING-OVERBY I am searching for DAVID TERRY and Hetha BOWLING married in Calhoon Co. Alabama in 1852. They had four children before Hetha died in Richview Illinois. David TERRY was born 1825 in De Kalb co. Georgia and was on the census there until 1850. I show him having owning land on Kemps Creek in Ala. in the 1850s, I am trying to find anybody with info. reguarding Davids parents and siblings. David remarried in 1866 to Delila OVERBY in Jefferson Co. Ill. Together they had three children before he died Janurary 28, 1872 in Jefferson Co. Ill. Delila died Janurary 17, 1881. I would appreciate any info. I can get on Davids ancestors. As well as Hethas' and Delilahs'.

William McCall BLAIR: born 3/30/1828 Washington co., Tenn. Married (1) Mary Ann KIRBY 8/17/1848 in Benton (Calhoun) co., Ala. (2) Sarah E. EMBRY ("Sallie") on 7/20/1865. He died at home in Moody, Tx. on 5/22/1904 and is buried with 2nd wife at Moody cemetery. William fought in Company D of the 51st Alabama Cavalry in Civil War (also called "Dudley's Home Rangers"). One source lists him as William McBlair by mistake. William's parents were John BLAIR and Margaret McCALL ("Peggy"). Wm. and Mary had the following children: Serelda Ann (Marelda; Eralda) 1851; Margaret Jane, 1853; William S., 1855; Robert Thomas, 1858; Mary Caroline, 1861; Molly; (boy who died at age 17); and John G. William and Sallie had the following children: Hugh Orlando, 1868; Annie, 1870. Mary Ann Kirby's parents were Thomas Hawkins and Nancy C. KIRBY (she was Thomas' cousin). I'm interested in any info. on either family and will be glad to share the info. I've collected over the years.

AKRIDGE - Looking for anyone working on the William or Wesly AKRIDGE families of Calhoun County. My Great Great Grandmother was Mary Frances AKRIDGE, her father was William who died in the Civil War. Mary Frances married Absolom Byrd WALKER in 1877. Mary Frances had two sisters Camilla who never married and Emma who married a LITTLE and one brother John W. AKRIDGE. This family came to AL from GA in the 1850s.

PUTMAN - Looking for someone working on the Reuben PUTMAN family. They came to Calhoun County in the 1830's. My 3rd Great Grandmother was Reuben's youngest child Synthia, she married William H. WALKER in 1850. I am trying to figure out what Putman's belong to Reuben. Lucinda was his last wife and I know he had 4 with her. They came to AL from SC. I am sure there were many other children.
