LITTLE, PETTIT posted by P. Pettitt on Tuesday, January 25, 2000

I am hoping to find the burial place for John LITTLE. He is listed on the 1860 census as living with his daughter and son-in-law Polly and Henry PETTIT. His age is listed as 86. I know that Henry and Polly moved to Texas sometime after the 1860 census, but I assume that John LITTLE died and is buried in Calhoun County, as he did not make the move to Texas. Also, any information out there on Henry and Polly PETTIT or their 11 children would be most appreciated. The family moved to Alabama from South Carolina around 1838, and their last four children were born in Calhoun County. Thankyou.
