GRIFFITH, SEWELL, WELLS posted by Keitha Kirk on Monday, February 7, 2000

I am trying to find more inforamtion on Margaret Jane WELLS who married Sidney Vardamond GRIFFITH on November 20, 1860 in Calhoun Co., AL. I have reason to believe that Sidney died and Margaret remarried a second time to Richard E SEWELL on Sept 12, 1868 in Calhoun Co., AL. The marriage license doesn't state that she is a Mrs., but other information leads me to believe that she was married before. So anything would be helpful: the date Sidney died, etc. Thank you for your help. Keitha Kirk    http://members.aol.co m/kkirk6/genealogy.html
