He lived in Benton/Calhoun in his adult years and had the following children: Samuel A. 1842, Columbus Wilson 1844 married Waitcel L. PARKER, and Joseph R 1846. Reese's second wife was Martha BAGWELL and they had the following children: Josephine 1853, Mary 1856, James A. 1859, Jefferson Barton 1861, and Catherine 1863. Does anyone have information?

Seeking information on my g-g- grandparents: Francis B. SMITH and wife, Eliza HILL SMITH. Also John SCHENCK and wife, Harriet Hannah ALLYN SCHENCK. The SCHENCK came to Calhoun (Benton) County ca 1832. They owned and operated the Schenck Sulphur Springs Resort. Their daughter, Catharine married the SMITH's son, William Merrill SMITH in Calhoun County in 1867 and moved to north Alabama to Franklin County. Francis, Eliza, John, & Harriet lived and died in Calhoun County somewhere between Anniston and Jacksonville. I would greatly appreciate any information on these two families and where they may be buried. Harriet died in 1845 and John SCHENCK died in 1899. Francis B. SMITH died ca 1854. Eliza remarried after Francis's death to a Jacob Autry and I don't know when she died. The SCHENCK's oldest son, Francis "Frank" Rhinehart SCHENCK also lived near his parents and married there. Later he moved his family to Texas. Would love to exchange any information that I have with other descendants or anyone who knows anything about this family. Thanks
