Aldridge Cemetery is located in a pasture approx. one mile from The Aldridge
Grove Church of Christ and Cemetery in Lawrence County, Alabama. The Aldridge
cemetery was started many years before the Aldridge Grove Cemetery.
We believe that Nathanial Benjamin, Jr. and his wife Jane (Armstrong)
Aldridge are buried in the Aldridge Cemetery. Both died in Lawrence County,
Alabama. This cemetery is located within a short distance of the old
homeplace of Nathanial, Jr. and Jane. Nathanial is believed to be our first
ancestor to settle in Lawrence County.
There are several marked graves in this cemetery that do not have names on
them. There are also several tombstones that are not listed as the writing
has faded completely or the stone has fallen over and is broken.
Names listed are the way they are written on the tombstone.
