Looking for any information on a Sara RILEY or O'RILEY who would probably have
lived in or near Borden Springs/Piedmont around 1868. She would have been of
childbearing age, probably young. She may have had a brother named Will who
married a PENCE. She may have borne a child by Andy WILLIAMS of the same area.
Andy was married to Nicie PENCE at the time, however there is evidence to
suggest that Sara was the mother of Andy's son, John Elliott WILLIAMS. At least,
that is the information on John Elliott's death certificate. I realize death
certificates can be wrong, but my oldest surviving descendant of this family
swears that the person who gave the information for the death certificate
wouldn't have just 'made that up.' Can anybody shed any light on this puzzle?
