County, Georgia. Their son, William Clayton KEITH was born in Cleburne County,
Alabama in 1866. In 1869 Abselom KEITH married Nancy BULLARD, so either Sarah
died or they divorced. Abselom lived in Jefferson County, Alabama during the
later years of his life. One family story is that Sarah A. WHEELER KEITH is
buried on the banks of the Tennessee River. I have been searching for

I would like information concerning the MARKS family living in Cleburne Alabama
in an area known as Pine Thicket according to the 1880 census. My maternal great
grandfather Nathan Thomas MARKS was married at that time to Aramintha (maiden
name:LANGSTON). Between 1880 and 1900 he left that area and married again and
died in Georgia in 1911 or 1912. I would like any information on Aramintha. Did
she remain in that area and die there or did she die prior to his leaving?
Family history is that he left her for the next wife. Since the 1890 census
records were destroyed, I have run into a dead end and can find no history of
Aramintha beyond that point. All of the people with some memory of events have
mostly all passed on now.
