Looking for information on John SMITH b. 10 Sept 1811 in Clay Co., AL died in Calhoun Co. Al 23 Aug 1853, buried iat Oxford Memorial Gardens. He married Sarah Ann LAMBERT, who was born 09 Jul 1812 in Calhoun Co. Al and d. 11 Feb 1881 in same cem. Who were their parents and when did they marry? They had a son John Floyd SMITH b. 15 Dec 1839 and a son Samuel Harriis SMITH b. 27 Oct 1835. Don't know if there were other children. Thanks for any help.

We are looking for info on the NIX and PRUITT Families. John W. NIX married Martha J. Amanda PRUITT in Cleburne Co.Ala. in 1885 They were living in Gordon Co. Ga. in the late 1880's. They had three children, John Henry, Rosie and Fannie. They must have died in the 1890's because the children were listed on the 1900 fed census as Orphans living with other families in Cleburne Co. We have Martha's Ancestors back to Va but don't know anything about John W. NIX's Parents. We need when John and Martha died and where buried. Thier parents were in Cleburne Co most likely.
