Wesley SKINNER lived in Bowden GA area 1880- 1900 believed to have married in Cleburne Co about 1909-1910. My mother Sarah Elizabeth (Lizzie) SKINNER, the first of 13 children was born in Bowden GA in 1911. The family was later in Cullman CO AL. Any information would be appreciated.

Seeking info on Thomas WHITE, son of William WHITE Sr. and Nancy HOOPER WHITE. Thomas, born about 1773 in Lunenburg Co., VA., along with the family emmigrated to Pendleton Dist., SC. during the revolution. The name of his wife is unknown but their sons names were Nathaniel H., William C., Peyton Henry, John G. and George W. and other sons and daughters whose names are unknown. Thomas was in Franklin Co., GA around 1800 and then emmigrated into AL sometimes in the 1820's-30's. He lived in the Cleburne/Calhoun/Randolph and Clay county areas for several years and died in Calhoun Co. in the 1840's. Any info on Thomas or his family would be appreciated. rpwhite@flash.net

MCDONALD,SPENCER,LANGLEY My grandmother was Flonnie McDONALD born 24 Nov 1880 in Cleburne County to John McDONALD and Mattie SPENCER. She married Robert L. LANGLEY born in Haralson County, Georgia. They lived most of their lives in the Tallapoosa and Waco area. Thanks for any help on these names.

Researching William Daniel COOK b. c1810 NC married Feb 4, 1838 Nancy ORR in Hall County, GA. Both are buried in Cleburne County, AL. Have the names of their 10 children. William owned a tanning business near Edwardville, AL. Have info on William's brother, James M. COOK b. c1813NC married to Elizabeth Ann BORING and their 10 children.

COLEMAN - Am trying to obtain information re: Charles S. COLEMAN who's widow stated that he came from Cleburne County and joined the CSA in B'ham in 1861. I realize that Cleburne was not formed until 1866 but am desperate for a clue to this elusive ancestor. Charles S. Coleman B: 1830 or 1839 in AL or TN M: 4 times in LA D: 1906 in Lincoln Parish, LA His widow never received a pension and we can't prove his serve in the CSA. Supposely the 13th. AL; then 22 Consolidated out of LA.....Alas, no definite proof. Please help if you can. Thanks, Barbara
